Brains-on-a-Stick... more than meets the eye.
What's with the name?
You’d be surprised how many people actually ask if Brains-on-a-Stick is a type of food. For us, we think it just fits – smart people who come in when needed to get stuff done. And it's "exit stage left" when it's time to move on. Word Spy says that a Brain on a Stick is “an intelligent person who lacks emotion or social skills”. Yeah, they might be right. But what we might lack in emotion or social skills we make up for in pure kick-butt productivity.
What can you do for me?
We believe that we can do just about anything related to technology and business pretty doggone good, whether it’s business plans or software development or marketing or just fixing stuff – we’re creative enough and immersed enough to come up with a really good (and often amazing) work product. But we’ve been burned enough by over-confidence throughout the years to know when to pull in our network of uber-specialists, other Brains who are experts in a particular area to get us over the hump. Call on us for software development, enterprise architecture, start-up, mobile, social - anything you need related to technology. We can guarantee it will be a valuable interaction - even if we don't wind up doing business together.
What makes you so special?
We’re the folks who can’t stand someone else “driving” the computer… it's just freakin’ painful to watch while someone daudles about trying to find a link to something, when we can get it in milliseconds. But that doesn’t necessarily make us special; it’s our desire not to make everyone else feel inadequate, and to only use these powers for good that separates us from the rest.
